Shipping Policy for Punfrun Shop
This shipping policy applies only to orders placed through this online shop.
Convention Pickups
Convention pickups are not covered by this shipping policy.
For all information regarding Convention Pick Ups, please visit the “Convention Pick Ups” section further on this policy.
To place your order for a convention pickup, select the country where your convention is held and view the available pickup options at the check-out of yoyr order.
Example:
- If your convention is Lucca Comics and Games, select Italy.
- If your convention is Japan Expo Paris, select France, and so on.

Where Do You Ship From?
All orders are shipped directly from Italy.
Depending on the destination and shipping method you select, I use the following couriers:
- DHL, FedEx, or UPS for international tracked shipments.
- Poste Italiane for domestic shipments within Italy, shipments within the European Union, and standard international shipments.
This way, I can ensure your order is shipped with a fast and reliable service, no matter where in the world you are located.
Can I Have a Tracking Number?
Yes, absolutely!
Once your order has been shipped, you will automatically receive an email with your tracking information.
Tracking details will vary depending on which courier handles your parcel and your country, so the shipping price and courier selection are tailored to your destination.
Important Note:
For legal and administrative reasons, I am required to use my legal name on shipping labels. So if you notice that your package is addressed from “Francesca Grasso,” that’s me!
How Will I Know When My Order Has Been Shipped?
For all orders that do not include pre-order items, I generally ship within two days of receiving your order, in period where I attend events and conventions I may take from 1 week up to 1+ month to process your order, keep this in mind, and check my convention attendecy status on my social media in case, if your order is urgent please notify me via e-mail, I will do my best to make the process as fast as possible.
Please note that exact processing times can vary based on:
- The overall order volume at the time.
- The complexity of any customs paperwork that needs to be prepared.
As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email notification confirming that it is on its way.
Tip:
Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder in case the shipping confirmation email ends up there by mistake.
Are There Customs Fees or Import Taxes?
Since all orders are shipped from Italy, your package may be subject to customs fees, VAT, or import duties depending on your country’s regulations.
These charges are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the customer.
If you are unsure whether these fees apply to you, I highly recommend checking with your local customs office before placing your order.
How Will My Items Be Packaged?
I always take special care to package every order securely so your items arrive in perfect condition.
Here’s what you can expect:
- Most items are shipped in protective boxes with cushioning paper.
- Whenever possible, I use recycled cardboard for additional protection, especially for larger or more delicate items.
- Every order includes some freebies as a thank you for your support and for shopping with me.
If you have any particular concerns about packaging, feel free to get in touch before ordering.
Estimated Delivery Times
Once your package has been dispatched, estimated delivery times are:
- Domestic (Italy): Typically within 1-5 business days.
- European Union: Usually between 4–10 business days.
- International Orders: Delivery can take anywhere from 4 days up to 3 weeks, depending on customs clearance and courier schedules.
Important:
During holiday periods and major festivities, orders may be subject to delays beyond my control.
What If There’s a Delay?
While I do everything possible to ensure your order arrives on time, sometimes unexpected delays occur, caused by:
- Severe weather conditions.
- Customs inspections.
- Holiday backlogs.
- Courier service disruptions.
- Convention attendency.
If you believe your order is taking longer than expected, please contact me. I will gladly assist you in tracking your package or providing updates whenever possible.
Low-Cost Shipping Alternative
To help keep shopping affordable, I offer a low-cost shipping option priced at €6 for orders that would otherwise have a higher shipping cost.
Please note:
- This shipment does not include tracking.
- Once the package is sent, there is no way to locate it.
- Although all previous shipments with this method have arrived safely, delays can happen, and there is no guaranteed delivery timeframe.
If you are concerned about tracking or delays, I recommend selecting an express tracked option instead.
Freebies and Packaging
I include freebies with every order because I appreciate your support and want to make your unboxing experience extra special.
Freebies may vary based on:
- Current stock.
- Seasonal availability.
- Preorder campaigns.
- The theme of your order.
How it works:
The value of freebies you receive is roughly equivalent to your shipping cost, up to a maximum of €12.
Examples:
- If your shipping costs €5, you will receive about €5 worth of freebies.
- If your shipping costs €20, freebies worth up to €12 maximum.
For larger orders, I provide extra freebies, but for regular orders, freebies are regulated this way.
Preorders
If your order includes preorder items:
- I will ship your entire order together once the preordered merchandise arrives in stock.
- If you prefer to receive your in-stock items sooner, consider placing a separate order for those items.
- I strive to keep preorder timelines transparent and updated, and I’ll notify you via email if anything changes.
Convention Pickups – Policy & Terms

At Punfrun Shop, I offer the option to preorder your merchandise for pickup at conventions, allowing you to secure your favorite items (especially limited editions or exclusive releases) without worrying about them selling out at the event.
To place your order for a convention pickup, simply select the country where your convention is held when browsing the “Convention Pick Ups” section of the shop.
Examples:
- If your convention is Lucca Comics and Games, select Italy.
- If your convention is Japan Expo Paris, select France, and so on.
This system is ideal if you're attending a busy event and want peace of mind knowing your items are reserved and waiting for you.

How Convention Pickups Work
When you place a preorder for a convention:

Your order will be treated as if it were being shipped:
- It will be packed in advance.
- It will be labeled and stored securely at my booth for in-person collection.
Price Differences & Handling Costs
Please note:
- Items purchased through the online shop are generally €1–3 more per item than prices at the convention booth.

This difference covers:
- Packaging materials
- Prep time
- Handling and logistics
Because of this built-in difference, I do not charge an additional preorder or reservation fee and offer equivalent freebies.
Preorder Deadlines & Limitations
- All convention preorders must be placed at least 2 days before the event begins, unless otherwise specified on the product or event page.
Orders Placed During the Event
If you place your order after the convention has started, your items:
- Will not be pre-packed in a box.
- Will still include freebies but will be handed to you in a regular shopping bag.
Don't worry your order will still be containing freebies even for pick-ups placed during conventions!
Temporary Shop Closures During Conventions
To prioritize in-person customers and manage booth traffic, I may temporarily disable online orders or convention pickup options during events.
If you're hoping to purchase a high-demand item, I strongly recommend ordering early, preferably before the convention begins.
Preorders may also close early if:
- Stock runs low.
- Prep time becomes limited due to order volume.
How to Pick Up Your Order
To collect your order at the Punfrun Shop booth during the event, please:
- Bring your order confirmation (printed or digital).
- Provide a valid identification or the name used at checkout.
- Pick up your package within the official dates of the convention, unless alternative arrangements were made in advance.
Can’t Pick Up Your Order?
If you're unable to pick up your order:

Please contact me at least 24 hours before the final day of the event or as soon as possible. You can:
- Ask a friend to pick it up on your behalf (the person who placed the order should notify me).
- Arrange to pick it up at a future convention.
- Request shipping after the event (shipping charges apply).
If you don’t notify me and the order remains unclaimed, it will be considered abandoned, and no refund will be issued if the order is not claimed after 14 days from purchase (see below for more info on cancellations).
Cancellations & Refunds
If you prepaid using PayPal, card, or any electronic method and change your mind:
- You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with Italian consumer law.
- If you notify me after the 14-day period, I may not be able to refund you unless the product is defective (please refer to my Refund Policy).

If You Don’t Pick Up Your Order and Don’t Notify Me after 14 days:
I reserve the right to:
- Retain your package
- Deny a refund
- Resell the items at the event or later online
I will hand out a gift card with the equivalent amount you spent to alleviate the situation, so you will still get a refund but in the form of a gift card and not in cash.
Please understand: each preorder requires time, materials, and reserved booth space. Abandoned orders impact my ability to serve others and manage inventory.
Unclaimed or Forgotten Packages
Forgot your preorder at the event?
- You can request post-convention shipping (standard rates apply).
- Shipping must be paid before the item is sent.
- I will hold your package for 14 days after the event.
- After this period, unclaimed orders may be considered forfeited, and a cash refund may no longer be possible.
Limits of Liability
While I do my best to fulfill every preorder smoothly, I cannot be held responsible for:
- Customer errors (e.g., arriving late, visiting the wrong booth, providing incorrect info).

Convention-related disruptions, such as:
- Venue access issues.
- Booth reassignment.
- Last-minute changes imposed by organizers.

If, for any reason, I am unable to attend the event, you will receive:
- A full refund, or Free tracked shipping of your order, whichever you prefer.
Respect, Communication & Fairness
Convention pickups only work well when both parties communicate clearly and respectfully.
Please keep in mind that every preorder you place and don’t collect is one less product available to other convention attendees, some of whom may have really hoped to purchase that item. I kindly ask that you be thoughtful and intentional with your order. If you're unsure about your purchase or think you might not pick it up, it’s better to wait rather than place a "just in case" order.
I understand this may sound strict, but this policy comes from past experiences where unclaimed orders caused disappointment not only for me but also for attendees who missed the chance to buy something they truly wanted.
